2 years ago, I dropped out to make indie games. I've released 2 games but they flopped. This week, I released my third game's Demo and it's not looking good, am I screwed?

Two years ago, I dropped out of my university where I studied IT. I feel like they aren't really teaching me anything useful and with the lengthy travel time between my house and the university, it took a large chunk of my time. I was very into gamedev at the time and with a lot of indie success stories around, I started making games. But I didn't have much time because of university so I decided to drop out shortly after to focus on making indie games.

I released my first game last year and it did ok? At the time, the result was not that bad and I thought to myself that I was making progress, I'm gaining experience so if I keep making game, I ought to be success. So I kept making game and released another this summer. But the game flopped and did way worse than the first one.

At this point, I felt like I'm screwed. But what am I gonna do? It's not like I know how to do anything else. So I'm doubling down and now I'm working on my third game Meowmunitions Survivor.

So I released the Demo earlier this week and not a lot of players played it. Even though it's still better than my second game which I screwed up and half the player couldn't play it, it was still worse than my first game. There was almost no feedback, the Steam Next Fest is coming, and I had no idea if there's any potential issue that I need to fix.

So I'm now here asking you to try my game demo and give me some feedback.

I put a lot of effort into the game so I'm really hoping that I'd make it this time.

Thanks for reading, please ask me anything.

A bit about the game I'm making:

The game is called Meowmunitions Survivor.

It's a bullet heaven horde survivor inspired by Megabonk but instead of getting more weapons and tomes, you build a custom gun with augments.

Each augment adds a unique property to your projectile and they can stack. So the synergies are infinite.
