Would a restart be acceptable if it didn't stop the agent sessions? For Codex at least, it seems like it would be simple to keep the sessions running in a separate app server process. This is what I do now in my personal app connecting to app server over UDS or Websockets.

I just don’t want to think about it ever
The CLIs resume very cleanly. Not the apps?
They do. But I like to run autonomously and don’t want to have to go to my desk because something needs to be updated.
@thsottiaux at least add a button to "update when all inference ends" to let us click it and come back to a fresh client after a few hours
This is a great idea.
