Porting Bully into Unreal Engine with AI (Opus 5.5) PT2

Since you guys both hated and loved this, let's keep cooking it

This step ran for a few days and worked on the first slice of the game's locations and questlines

So now, the first fight from the game is now built in alongside 10 different locations like the dorms, library, bathroom, etc

Some problems I'm running into here are the cutscenes, th…

Day 14/

Small quality of life improvement. You can now edit previous messages within a thread in the desktop app. Long time requested, and took way too long to get that one out.

City fly through at noon.

We now have a 24 hour cycle including weather system.
Performance still needs work.
Currently breathing the life into the city and the NPCs.

AAinthropos@Ainthropos

Opus 5.5
Oneshot, 24h runtimee
No external assets
three.js
only Blender MCP and Magnific MCP only for sound

Next step, better human models, better animations.
fully interactive world.
Most stuff is already built.
There's even a nightclub I can already enter with people dancing inside, a bar... everything!

Again:
It took Opus 24 hours to build all of this from scratch.

Now imagine it running for 7 days....

🚨 ANYPS5 JUST JUMPED TO 88% SYSTEM LIBRARY SUPPORT!

🤯🔥

I genuinely can’t keep up with how fast this project is moving. In ONE DAY, AnyPS5 went from 86.47% to 88.12% system library implementation!

• System libraries: 3,211 / 3,644 implemented
• Overall library implementation: 88.12%
• Yesterday we were looking at 3,005 / 3,475 at 86.47%
• That’s 206 MORE implemented functions since that snapshot…

We discovered a sophisticated recording device that was hidden inside one of our offices.

We used our models to understand the device and where it had come from, identifying that a specific employee had planted it a few days earlier. We referred the matter to the FBI, and we’re grateful to the agents and prosecutors who moved quickly to make an arrest. The FBI’s investigation is ongoing and we will continue to support their work.

At t…

Rebuilding my three.js Spider-Man game in Unreal Engine.

The idea is to map each system from the JS code to its native Unreal equivalent.

Over 100 minutes and 4.5M tokens in, and it's still working on the design plan lol.

Huge thanks to the Epic Games team for getting me set up with the hardware to explore Unreal Engine.

Really curious to see how it turns out.

oh boy.

this is the start of a much bigger conversation.

at this point, there is simply no way to stop this from happening. installing safeguards will only create more pressure for abliterated models.

closed source is dead. do not attempt to prolong this dying age.

AI Cloning should be illegal. And I think it might be. It feels self-evident, but we may need to wait for the courts to be sure.

This morning, I took a full Windows application from Microsoft, had AI reverse-engineer it using NSA's Ghidra into a set of atomicizable actions, then translated those actions backward into Rust logic, then compiled the Rust into a brand new application.

And it did it. In one shot. So the process is:

C Code -> Compiler -> Linker -> Exe
then
Exe -> OPS -> Rust -> Compiler -> Linker -> Exe

So you feed it an application, and it produces a Rust version of that same application with 100% of the same functionality and appearance and "none" of the original code - just the logic behind that code.

I don't consider this coding.
It's not even vibe coding.
It is piracy.

This might be a hot take, but cloning an application when the application itself is used as an input does NOT, in my mind, yield an independent work.

I'm even dubious about letting the AI base its work on the application. I specifically did NOT do so for TMOG (http://tmog.org/) because I didn't want it just copying. So I wrote a huge spec instead (which I guess could just be copying via indirection, but I'll leave that aside for now).

This time, I chose an in-the-box Windows application as a proof of concept, but there's no reason this couldn't be applied to Photoshop.

Or heck, have the AI port Final Cut from the Mac to Windows. That's a bigger ask, of course, but we're not far from it.

And so I propose we ruthlessly distinguish any process that uses an application binary itself.

Prompt -> Code -> Binary == OK
Binary -> Prompt -> Code => Binary == Clone
